Service Bulletin: 23-03 - Fireboy Module Replacement

Models: 42XO - TK011 to TK022 & 42FXO - TX012 to TX031

Description: There may be an internal wiring issue affecting the
safety and reliability of the module. 

Solution: Existing module to be replaced with new Part Number: 223318.
1. Module is located within the helm
2. Remove the dash brow. This is done by removing the two screws at the forward end of the brow and then lifting the brow off to expose the inside of the helm.
3. Locate the module and replace with the new one.
4. Install brow.

Time Allotted: 2.0 Hours + Travel time if needed. A warranty claim must be filed once work is completed.

The purpose of this work standard is how to access and replace the FireBoy Shutdown module.

1. Remove the two screws holding the dash brow in place. Be careful not to
damage the vinyl. 

2. Gently pull the brow aft and lift up to remove.

3. Locate the FireBoy shutdown box behind the dash (STBD Aft corner of the dash) and replace it.
Remove both Screws securing the Fire Boy box and replace them with Model ES-3000 Fire Boy.
